Join us ONLINE tonight, Friday, March 13, 2020 for a conversation about the fight to save the middle class and address the correlation and concerns around the coronavirus. I have invited Dr. Melissa Schmidt, a local nurse and nursing instructor with a PhD in Rural Nursing to join the conversation live tonight as part of the town hall. Dr. Schmidt will briefly discuss the new Coronavirus (COVID19) and review some basic, reasonable precautions that people can take to stay healthy.
Melissa Schmidt, PhD has been a nurse for almost 30 years and is a professor in the nursing program at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
We will also discuss what steps Congress should take to restore and strengthen the working and middle class in America. A topic that will be as important as ever as we watch the financial impact of this virus. We will later open the conversation up for questions.
